In this episode Johanna Gottlieb, Axis Promotions, and Ashley Colautti, Commonsku talk to Meg Erber, S&S Activewear and Glencora Twigg, Fairware about selling sustainability in the promotional products arena. They tackle some great topics on what you can and should be asking your clients and suppliers.

Glencora has been at the intersection of design, product development, marketing, sales and brand in sustainable apparel and promotional products for over 20 years. A reformed entrepreneur, currently acting as Fairware's senior account manager and pursuing her MBA.

Meg Erber is an outside sales manager for the Top 40 Supplier, S & S Activewear and covers the region consisting of South Jersey and Philly to State College in PA. She loves long walks on the beach and ripping people’s arms off. Her DNA says she’s 89% Scottish, with 11% being a little bit of this and a little bit of that. She is a 17 year promo industry vet and a U.S. Navy veteran. She is also a nerdy news podcast host on the #IndustryInsider, a PromoCares Do-Gooder, a BJJ purple belt and yogi. She has been training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 14 years and has made an active push over the last 7 years to teach women’s self defense and empowerment through jiu jitsu, especially to the women of our industry. In addition to DEI and Women’s empowerment, she is passionate about educating her customers on sustainability and how to make an impact on any level.

A jack of all trades, Megan has held different positions all throughout this industry, from being an account executive at a small web-based distributor in 2004, to running production at Jetline Promo in 2009, to a VP of Sales in 2014, but she’s finally found a home at legitimately the best supplier to work for in the industry, S & S Activewear since 2016.

Accolades include Supplier Sales Rep of the Year (CPPA), Peake Award (highest honor of excellence and creativity in the CPPA association), and ASI’s Hot List, Supplier Sales Rep of the year (runner up).
